My primary focus and passion as a Coordinator is to work with Brides & Grooms because they exude a special kind of enthusiasm that is contagious. They are in love, they have creative ideas for planning the most important day of their lives, and they are fun to interact with. My life has been so enriched and blessed by the many couples that I’ve been able to work with over the years.
In 1985, when I married my high-school sweetheart, I hired a couple of friends to be our “host & hostess” for our wedding day… to be the people looking after the logistical details and to oversee our wedding day events and assist our guests for us. I needed them to be my 'right hand helpers' because I wanted to enjoy my wedding day without having to worry about all the details. Little did I know that I was “ahead of the times” at my wedding… because those friends in essence were my “wedding day coordinators” – something you never heard of back then. And little did I know that I was foreshadowing my future career as a certified Wedding Coordinator! Helping couples manage their wedding details has become my passion!
I desire to make a difference in people’s lives – whether that is to be a friend, to provide a listening ear, to offer ideas and guidance, to give practical help, or to be there to support them during a significant time in their lives. At the end of a wedding or event, I feel like I've achieved my goal of making a tangible and positive impact in the most important day of their lives, when my clients tell me:
